Beyonce Gave A $5 million Watch To Jay-Z For His Birthday

If you were married to a person that could pretty much buy anything they wanted, what would you get them? Well, it seems Beyonce found the answer with a $5 million watch for Jay-Z’s birthday.

Last week , Bey gifted her spouse with a Hublot “Big Bang” timepiece.

Hublot is famous for its luxury watches, but the immense price tag is due in part to the extra features. The watch possess 1,282 diamonds, over 100 carats of baguette diamonds, six square emerald cut stones, while the enclosure is made of 18K white gold with an engraved Hublot seal. “Beyoncé will always buy Jay the best gifts money can buy. Money is no object to her,” said a source.

“She knew he would love the Hublot ‘Big Bang’ watch. It’s the ultimate timepiece, a mixture of extravagance, luxury and bling. Jay-Z is a huge watch collector and was very excited when he was given the gift. He can’t wait to start flashing it around. It is absolutely stunning.”

This isn’t a new thing for the artist to drop serious cash in the gift arena. After the January birth of their first child, she allegedly gave Jay a sapphire ring worth nearly a cool mill.

Rihanna has been seen all over the place in the past few but it looks like she has found her one home sweet home. She bought a $12 million Los Angeles mansion. Even though la has been home for 4 years now, Rihanna has been spotted any and everywhere in the past few months but it looks like she’ll have one particular place settle down. The Bajan beauty bought a $12 million Los Angeles mansion.

Though LA has been her home for 4 years now, it seems she plans on extending her stay. Her new Pacific Palisades mansion is around 11,000 sq ft and resides on a 33,541 sq ft lot. It looks like the price is worth it considering the very isolated space with high fences and trees add priceless privacy for the Pop princess. The “Umbrella” singer has been touring the globe in the past months as she was promoting her seventh studio album, Unapologetic, releasing her second fragrance Nude and touring in the middle.

Since the success of “Diamonds” is still tearing the charts, it clear that Rihanna deserves this pad.

Now she can bump elbows with her new neigbors, NFL star Tom Brady and Heidi Klum. Hopefully she’ll get settled in and adjusted to her new home as the Diamonds World Tour sets off in spring of next year.

Justin Bieber may be just perfect to his legions of Beliebers, but according to the Canadian crooner, he’s still “trying to be better.” After photos of JB holding what appears to be a joint surfaced online, the pop superstar hit Twitter in the early hours of Saturday morning (January 5) with a post that seemed to address the controversial snaps.

“Everyday growing and learning. trying to be better. u get knocked down, u get up,” he wrote hours after TMZ got their hands on images of Bieber — looking photo shoot-ready and casual in grey hoodie and Nikes — kicking back with friends in a Newport Beach, California, hotel room earlier this week.

According to the tabloid site, Bieber’s good homey Lil Twist was also present, though the YMCMB rapper isn’t captured in the photographs posted under the hedline “Justin Bieber — Let’s be Blunt.”

And while Twist and Bieber have been promising fans a joint mixtape as far back as 2010, the duo have been making more noise on TMZ than MTV in the first week of the New Year. Shortly after a paparazzo was killed trying to photograph the “Boyfriend” singer’s Ferrari, sources reported that it was in fact the Dallas-bred Twist behind the wheel of the car this past Tuesday.

Bieber offered up prayers for the victim and his family, but also urged lawmakers to draft legislation that would help further ensure the safety (and privacy, no doubt) of celebs. His latest scrap with the gossip rags doesn’t seem to have thrown Bieber off course though.

In the wake of a flood of support from his followers, the singer tweeted that he was turning the focus back to performing, namely the Utah stop on his Believe Tour. The 18-year-old’s Believe Acoustic EP is set for a January 29 release

The Cable News Network Explains why it thinks Nas is the GOAT.

CNN Calls Nas Hip Hop's "Finest MC"

Many media outlets have thrown their hat into the “who is the greatest emcee?” ring, but now CNN can be added to the list.

In a recent piece, CNN’s Eliott C. McLaughlin writes that Nas is the “greatest lyricist of all time,” and in fact interview God’s Son about that particular distinction.

“It’s wayyyyyy, way, way too early in our lives,” explained Nas. “It’s great to put a list together, but don’t take it too seriously because your list won’t matter 10 years from now or 15 years from now. It’ll be a different list.”

In the op-ed, McLaughlin weighing Nas’ subject matter (“I’ve been called everything. Gangsta rap. I’ve been called conscious rap. You know, everything. Whoever feels like calling it whatever they want to call it, that’s on them.”), as well as Nas’ commercial success (Nas has nine number one albums, behind only Jay-Z, and seven of which have gone platinum).

“Don’t blame me; blame our wonderful country, America,” explains the Queensbridge emcee. “And you can’t even blame America. It’s life. Blame life. I talk about life, and I make universal music with an American style — and that’s what I do,” he said. “I know one thing: People put too many labels on music.”
